The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has declared that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in 2027 is inevitable, dismissing opposition efforts as futile political maneuvering.

Speaking in response to a press conference held by opposition leaders, including former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, Ganduje insisted that no political coalition or alliance could prevent Tinubu’s second term.

In a statement issued by his Special Assistant on Public Enlightenment, Chief Oliver Okpala, Ganduje expressed confidence that **Nigerians would overwhelmingly support Tinubu** based on his administration’s performance.

“Forget the recent political gatherings and rantings from some politicians who presently do not have any identifiable political base,” he said. “Their alliance is built on conflicting political ideologies and selfish interests. They will never agree on anything politically.”

The APC also fired back at the **newly formed opposition coalition, branding its leaders, including Atiku, Peter Obi, and El-Rufai, as “roving opposition opportunists.”

Felix Morka, APC’s National Publicity Secretary, criticized the opposition for failing to take meaningful action during the Rivers State crisis but now seeking to use it for political gain.

“These self-serving individuals did what they do best – issued a lengthy, convoluted, and utterly meaningless statement intended to stir up tension,” Morka stated.

Amid political tensions, the APC praised the National Assembly for swiftly approving President Tinubu’s state of emergency in Rivers State, lauding their patriotism in prioritizing security.

Morka emphasized that Tinubu remained focused on restoring order in Rivers State, ensuring all three arms of government function effectively for the well-being of the people.

“With Tinubu’s leadership and commitment to national stability, the opposition’s plan to wrest power in 2027 is nothing more than wishful thinking,” the APC spokesman concluded.
