The event was held at the weekend, as part of the end-of-year activities of the body. The award is in recognition of Olusunle's "support to ANA and the development of the written craft."

Renowned poet, writer, and scholar, Tunde Olusunle, has been awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Abuja Chapter, Arc. Chukwudi Eze.
