Emir of Rano Turbans Alhaji Ahmad Ado Kibiya as Village Head of Kibiya
Kibiya community came alive with celebrations as His Royal Highness, the Emir of Rano, Ambassador Dr. Muhammad Isa Umaru, officially turbaned Alhaji Ahmad Ado Kibiya as the new Village Head of Kibiya.

Rabiu Khalil Kura indicated that the turbaning ceremony, held at the Emir’s palace in Rano, drew a large gathering of dignitaries, community leaders, and residents, who came together to witness the historic event.
Alhaji Ahmad Ado Kibiya, a seasoned administrator and former Chairman of Rano Local Government, succeeded his elder brother, Senator U.K. Umar, recently elevated to the position of District Head (Durbin Rano). His appointment as Village Head was endorsed by ward heads, imams, and other influential stakeholders within the community.
In his address during the ceremony, the Emir of Rano commended Alhaji Ahmad Ado Kibiya for his wealth of experience and commitment to public service.
The Emir urged him to prioritize unity, inclusivity, and development, encouraging collaboration with all stakeholders to ensure the progress of Kibiya and the entire Rano Emirate.
Alhaji Ahmad Ado Kibiya, in his acceptance speech, expressed profound gratitude to the Emir and the people of Kibiya for their support.
He pledged to dedicate his tenure to fostering social harmony, improving education, and driving economic growth in the community.
