The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed deep condolences to Governor Umar Namadi and the people of Jigawa State following the tragic tanker explosion in Majiya village that resulted in significant loss of life and property.
In a statement issued by Chairman of the ACF Board of Trustees, Alhaji Bashir Dalhatu, the forum extended its sympathies to the families of the deceased and those injured in hospitals across the country.
Dalhatu emphasized the forum’s solidarity with the Emir of Ringim, Dr. Sayyadi Mahmud, and the entire Emirate during this difficult time.
“The ACF expresses its heartfelt condolences to the Chairman of Taura Local Government Area and the residents of Majiya Town. We trust that the relevant authorities will investigate the cause of this incident to prevent future occurrences,” he stated.
Describing the incident as a monumental national tragedy, Dalhatu urged the families of victims to find solace in their faith.
He prayed for the souls of the deceased to find eternal rest and for the bereaved families to have the strength to cope with their loss.
Additionally, he wished a swift recovery for those receiving medical care and urged the public to prioritize safety to avert similar accidents in the future.
