Dr. Seun Osamaye, Special Adviser on Women Affairs to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has expressed her gratitude for being appointed as Co-Chairman of the Central Women Committee in the APC’s 2024 gubernatorial campaign council.

Reacting to her appointment, Dr. Osamaye emphasized that involving women in prominent roles sends a strong message about their leadership capabilities. “This opportunity allows women to contribute their unique perspectives and ideas to the decision-making process,” she stated.

She highlighted the importance of women’s inclusion in politics, asserting that it leads to more effective governance and better representation of diverse interests. “Acknowledging women’s achievements in political spaces encourages greater participation and paves the way for future generations of women leaders,” she added.

Dr. Osamaye assured Governor Aiyedatiwa of the women’s commitment to justifying his confidence by ensuring effective mobilization for his victory in November.
She noted that the diverse perspectives brought by women in the campaign council will enhance the overall strategy, particularly in engaging with women voters.

Her experience in grassroots mobilization and community engagement will be crucial in reaching all corners of Ondo State. Dr. Osamaye’s insights will help formulate strategies that resonate with a significant portion of the electorate.

Governor Aiyedatiwa’s decision to appoint women reflects a recognition of the importance of diverse viewpoints in shaping policies and strategies for effective governance. The council is expected to benefit significantly from the wealth of experience and knowledge that women like Dr. Osamaye bring to the table.
