The Labour Party (LP) Caretaker Committee, headed by Senator Nenadi Usman, has decided to appeal the court ruling that upheld Julius Abure’s position as national chairman.
This resolution followed consultations with key members, including Mr. Peter Obi and Governor Alex Otti, who discussed the implications of the Federal High Court’s decision.
Senator Usman urged party members to remain calm and focused on reconciliation as they tackle the legal challenges and strive to enhance unity within the party.
The Caretaker Committee’s involvement aims to address the ongoing internal disputes and strengthen the party’s unity moving forward.
