    Musawa Pledges to Boost Creative Economy as Nigeria Celebrates 64th Independence

    The Minister of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has sent a message of congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the people of Nigeria on the nation’s 64th Independence Anniversary.

    In a statement issued in Abuja, Musawa hailed the creation of the Ministry of Art, Culture, and the Creative Economy as a key indicator of President Tinubu’s dedication to promoting Nigeria’s creative sector and its role in economic development, cultural preservation, and national growth.
    Special Adviser on Media and publicity Dr. NNEKA ikem Anibeze in a statement issued in Abuja on Tuesday quoted the Minister to have expressed gratitude to the President for his unwavering support for the creative industries and pledged to work diligently towards achieving the ministry’s goals.
    Musawa emphasized her commitment to implementing initiatives that will enhance skills development, policy frameworks, and collaboration within the sector to drive growth and international recognition.

    “We celebrate our nation’s resilience and President Tinubu’s visionary leadership, particularly in establishing this ministry, which shows his commitment to advancing Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage and creative industries,” Musawa said.

    As the country celebrates this significant milestone, the minister reaffirmed her dedication to fostering growth in the creative economy, which she believes will diversify Nigeria’s economy and propel it towards a prosperous future.

    The statement concluded with Musawa’s warm wishes for a bright and successful future for Nigeria and its citizens.
