Dangote refinery readies for fuel lifting as 300 NNPC trucks take positions

The much talked about fuel lifting from the Dangote Refinery is set to commence tomorrow, September 15, 2024, with about 300 trucks from the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) already stationed at the facility

According to NNPC spokesperson, Olufemi Soneye, the trucks are arriving in preparation for the scheduled petrol loading, marking a significant milestone in Nigeria’s quest for fuel self-sufficiency.
By the end of today, the refinery’s fuel loading gantry is expected to be bustling with activity, as the 300 trucks get ready to transport the refined products to various destinations across the country.

This development is coming as a relief to Nigerians, who have been waiting with bathed bredth for the commencement of fuel lifting from the Dangote Refinery, positioned as a game-changer in the country’s oil and gas sector.
