CNPP Honours House Committee chairman on Police Affairs with excellence service award

For his notable achievements and contributions to his constituency, the Coalition of Nigeria Political Parties (CNPP) in Jigawa State has awarded Honourable Abubakar Makki Yalleman, Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Police Affairs, with an “Excellence Service Award”

The award ceremony took place at the Manpower Development Institute (MDI) in Dutse, chaired by Alhaji Murtala Musa Galamawa.
Galamawa, who also chairs the Jigawa State Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), commended the selection committee for its objective and non-partisan evaluation process.
He highlighted that Honourable Yalleman was chosen after a comprehensive assessment of the performance of 11 legislators from the state.

Key achievements recognized by the coalition included the Empowerment of 10,000 women with cash grants ranging from N50,000 to N100,000 to support their small businesses.
Electrifying 20 towns and villages within his constituency, boosting local enterprises.
Other acjievements considered included the distribution of approximately five trailer loads of fertilizer to local farmers, installation of solar power in 30 towns and villages, construction of five roads connecting various villages and the establishment of five new health facilities.
Others are the employment of over 1,000 youths in vigilante groups with monthly salaries of N30,000 each and the provision of clean drinking water for 20 villages.
Galamawa also noted in additio that Yalleman has excelled in securing federal jobs for the youth, including 800 positions in the Police, 200 in the Army, Air Force, and Navy, 30 in the Federal Fire Service, and 120 in the Nigeria Immigration Service.
Habibu Sani Sara, who represented Honourable Yalleman, expressed gratitude upon receiving the award and promised continued efforts in empowering his constituents. Yalleman, who was first elected in 2019 and re-elected in 2023, represents the Kaugama and Malam Madori Federal Constituency
