Tinubu’s North West Development Commission: A Game-Changer for the Region, Barau
The recent establishment of the North West Development Commission (NWDC) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is poised to be a game-changer for the seven states in the North West geopolitical zone the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I Jibrin has indicated.
According to him, the commission will tackle the region’s infrastructure gaps and stimulate economic growth.
Senator Barau expressed the optimism about the commission’s potential, saying it will “rapidly develop infrastructure in the region” and address the challenges posed by Boko Haram insurgents and bandits.
“With its headquarters in Kano, the NWDC is expected to make a significant impact on the region. Senator Barau urged constituents to support President Tinubu’s administration, saying, “Let’s continue to support the president and the government so that the administration can deliver its lofty policies and programs.”
The Chairman of the APC Caucus of Shanono Local Government Area, Alhaji Adamu Saidu, has commended Senator Barau whom he described as a “super Senator” working for the development of the North and the country.
