The youths accused Gumel of neglecting his constituency since his election 14 months ago during the last general elections.
Governor Umar Namadi of the State on Thursday, August 1 imposed a 24-hour curfew following vandalism and looting of public and private properties during the protest.
However, the curfew was relaxed on Monday, August 5 in 19 local government areas after a review of the security situation in the state.
