    To contain drug Abuse, Echocho helps to establish NDLEA area command in Anyigba

    In his determination to contain the menace of drug abuse in Kogi East, the Chairman, Senate Committee on Customs, Excise and Tariffs, Sen Isah Jibrin (Echocho), has helped to establish a National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), area command office in Anyigba, Dekina local government area of Kogi State.

    The Senator who was represented by his Legislative aide, Mr. Okpanachi Yakubu during the official flag off of the office explained that Anyigba in Dekina Local Government deserves to have an area command office of the NDLEA.
    A statement by his special adviser on media Mikail Ibrahim quoted the senator to have expressed his determination to have the office stationed in the area inorder to curb the menace of illicit drugs.

    The State Deputy Commander of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) Mr. Turki who represented the State Commander commended Sen. Isah Jibrin for the initiative, stressing the significance of the need for collective effort in taming drug abuse and illicit trafficking in Kogi East.
    He added that the lawmaker deserved commendation for his timely response by donating finished office facility for the agency.

    The Ogohi Onu Anyigba, Alhaji Shaibu Okolo, equally thanked the Senator for his support towards tackling drug abuse in Kogi East.
