    Ondo 2024: Akoko Obas, Elders, Indigenes drum support for Funmi Ayinke Adekojo

    As the race for Ondo State Governor’s House gathers momentum, 40yr – Old, Engr. Funmi Ayinke, Waheed – Adekojo, is one notable aspirants currently heating up the race

    Funmi Ayinke who is also a technocrat and business guru has started consultation in earnest as her campaign has started gaining traction begining from her home base, Akoko.

    The people of the land have showed unbridled excitement as they trooped out in in their numbers to give support to their illustrious daughter.

    Prominent Obas and elders of the land, were not left out at the palace of the Zaki of Arigidi Akoko land where they gave the successful business mogul their blessings.

    One after another, they applauded her philanthropic gestures to the people over the years as they particularly hailed her for being a woman of integrity.

    According to the Kabiyesi of Isua Akoko: “We are happy to have a woman running for Governor. We have highly educated people in Akoko and many illustrious sons and daughters who have proven that what a man can do, a woman can also do, if not better”.

    The MD/CEO of one of Nigeria’s leading Engineering companies, Engineer Funmi Ayinke Waheed Adekojo is targeting the APC Governorship Ticket under the slogan: “Hope for All”.

    Funmi Ayinke has been noted as one of the top contenders and political pundits say, she is most likely to get the ticket, being the most prepared and most accepted by all Constituencies, at the moment.
