Factional LP congratulates Tinubu over victory at Supreme Court

***Lampoons Peter Obi for presenting the worst petition in Nigeria’s history

The Lamidi Apapa Led faction of the Labour Party (LP) has sent a message of congratulations to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu over his triumph at the Supreme Court.

This was happening as the Julius Abure Led Labour Party described the verdict of the Supreme court affirming the victory of President Bola Tinubu and dismissing the petition of the party’s Candidate Peter Obi in the the February 25th , 2023 Presidential election as a trampling on justice and Truth

aBarrister Abure said with the verdict the struggles by the founding fathers to build a nation where justice and truth shall reign and enthroned democracy have been destroyed 

The Apex Court on 26th, October affirmed the victory of President Tinubu at the February 25th, 2023 presidential election.
A statement issued on Saturday by the Publicity Secretary of the party’s faction Comrade Abayomi Arabambi said since the President Tinubu’s victory has now become legitimate,

“The Labour Party leadership hereby congratulates President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his well-deserved victory at the supreme Court as the legitimate president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“This victory has now settled all the controversies that arose from the February 25th presidential and National Assembly Election.
“It’s our hope that the president will be magnanimous in Victory by inviting the LP’s Leadership as a partner in progress to an all inclusive Government in order to move Nigeria forward

“The Labour party National Chairman Alh Bashiru Lamidi Apapa and Members National Working Committee of our great Party, congratulate you once again and we are hereby reaffirming our unflinchingly support for a new and Better Nigeria under your leadership

“President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s victory at the supreme Court on Thursday 26th October was not a fluke as he deployed all what was required to win an election, a two time Governor of Lagos State, the commercial capital of Nigeria is a man of many means that remain very focused on his long term ambition.

“The President knew what he wanted because when political Shenanigans were on the prowl, when all hope seemed lost, he remained unperturbed but rather spread the Emilokan political virus that went across the nation upon which he affirmatively claimed victory in the APEX court

Arambabi also congratulated the former vice president of Nigeria and the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the February 25th presidential election insisting that his name will remain relevant in Nigeria whether his opponent likes it or not.
“Alhaji Atiku Abubakar really gave his best in the election. He has also tried it many times, but this may likely be his last chance.
“The former vice president remains a veteran and not a failure. He gave his all, but destiny at times speaks.
He, however, lampooned the LP presidential candidate Peter Obi for bringing a legal team that presented the worst election Petition ever in Nigeria’s history that was dismissed in less than 120 seconds

He also thanked Nigerians who participated in the 2023 general election for maintaining peace and orderliness.
“We urge Nigerians to remain calm and resolute in this trying time of national survival, as the man in the helm of affairs knows the job he was voted to do.
“The victory of President Bola Tinubu is well-deserved.It is a testimony of hard work, resilience, dedication, and love for the nation.
“President Tinubu fought for the emancipation of democratic values and true democracy in Nigeria, starting from his youthful age to this present time he actualised his dream of birth of a new Nigeria.
