Senator Degi sends a message of appreciation to Sylva, Jonathan, constituents

The Senator who represented Bayelsa East Senatorial District in the 9th Senate that has just wound down Senator B. W. Degi – Eremienyo has issued a message of appreciation to the former President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan and the former Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, His Excellency Chief Timipre Sylva

He also sent the message to the people of the senatorial district whom he said granted him the mandate to serve in the 9th Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Senator described his four years tenure as eventful in which he rolled out properly articulated a presentation of the demands and aspirations of the great people of the senatorial district in Bayelsa state and indeed the Nation at the red chamber.

The Senator who issued the message shortly after the valedictory session of the 9th Senate in Abuja expressed his sincere appreciation for the good will of Brass, Nembe and Ogbia people, specifically acknowledging the uncommon love and cooperation from the Former Honourable Minister of State for Petroleum Resources, His Excellency Chief Timipre Sylva whose encouragement and support contributed in no small measure to actualizing his political dreams and campaign promises to the senatorial district.

Senator Eremienyo also expressed appreciation to former President Goodluck Jonathan for his support and occasional encouragement during his stay in the 9th national assembly.
The senator stated that he will always remember the
wise counsel from other prominent political opinion leaders and chiefs especially the traditional royal fathers of Nembe, Ogbia and Brass local government areas of Bayelsa State for their Royal blessings and prayers in the past four years and beyond.

Senator Degi expressed the belief that his outstanding legacy achievements in the area of sponsorship of bills and motions including attracting people oriented critical infrastructural development projects; youths and women empowerment programmes to the nine constituencies in Bayelsa East will have an enduring impact on the lives of the people.

The Senator thanked all his teeming supporters and admirers who voted for him in the 25th February, 2023 Senatorial election and urged them to keep hope alive, trust in Almighty God even as he seek redress at the National and State Assembly Election Petition tribunal holding in Yenagoa.
