New Jigawa Gov promises to implement full financial Autonomy for Judiciary, State Assembly, LG Councils

The newly inaugurated governor of Jigawa state governor, Malam Umar Namadi Danmodi has promised full autonomy for the Judiciary, State Assembly and Local government councils in his administration.

The governor made the promise in his inaugural speech delivered shortly after he was swirn-in and mounted saddle
Namadi added that he will govern with transparency, accountability, inclusion, prudence and responsiveness and above all the fear of God Almighty

According to him “The oath of office we took will be a constant reminder for us to be steadfast, fair and upright as we take charge of the affairs of our dear state”.

The governor emphasised his administration’s determination to pay more attention to agricultural development, massive recruitment of qualified teachers for general revolution of the educational sector.

He also expressed the determination to continue from where his predecessors stopped as government is a continuous process.

The governor alongside his deputy Engineer Aminu Usman Gumel were earlier sworn-in by the state’s chief judge, Justice Umar Sadik.
