The vice President-elect, Senator Kashim Shettima has been fingered to be the brain behind all the controversies that trailed the Adamawa governorship election.
The revelation is coming from no other person than a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in Adamawa State, Alhaji Uba Dan’Arewa.
The chieftain of the party who accused the vice president-elect specifically said that the way and manner Shettima meddled in the affairs of Adamawa state politics, should not be allowed to continue as he may end up staging a coup to overthrow the president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government.
Uba Dan’Arewa in trending audio credited to him, also alleged that the acceptance speech of the APC governorship candidate, Senator Aishatu Ahmed Dahiru Binani was scripted by Shettima and his cohorts.
This was as the APC chieftain described the action of Senator Binani as tantamount to a coup de tat, stressing that it wouldn’t have gone down well for the country’s democracy had it not been quickly averted.
Uba Dan’Arewa noted that all accessing fingers are pointing at the direction of Shettima over the many infractions and controversies that trailed the Adamawa Governorship election as the master planner and brain behind the scene of the comedy film.
Uba Dan’Arewa therefore advised the President-Elect, Tinubu to be wary of Shettima, stressing that what he attempted doing was a clear sign of desperation by a politician that would not be loyal to him.
In the words of Uba Dan’Arewa; “If all the fingers are pointing at the vice president-elect that his hand is on the purported declaration of Binani by INEC official, Hudu Ari, then Tinubu must learn to eat with him with a long spoon.
“On many occasions, Shettima told many people that he wants to create sharp rivalry among the people of Adamawa state hence his firm decision to impose Binani on them to kill the political career of many people.
“It is a grievous mistake for Shettima to think that people like Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, Sadiq Wale Ganye, and many others don’t have any political relevance and as such wants to retire them”.
Uba Dan’Arewa said that the culprits of the unfortunate declaration of Senator Aishatu Binani as winner of the Adamawa election are the ones hiding the INEC REC, Yunusa Hudu Ari, stressing that it was clear that they are afraid he will open the lid of the pandora box if he is arrested
He further said; “We know the House, we have the video clips that these people had a meeting against the people of Adamawa. I’m not happy that they dented the good name of President Muhammadu Buhari”.
He promised to reveal more damning details on Shettima-led role, machinations and escapades agenda against the people of Adamawa and therefore called on the vice president-elect to hands-off from the politics of the state else, he may not like the results that would emerge at the end of the day.
