Easter Sunday April 9th 2023 is historic for the St Francis Catholic Church, Owo, Ondo State, being the day it reopened to activities after a deadly attack by terrorists on Sunday, June 5, 2022
The Church re-opened for normal church activities on Easter Sunday, April 9.
By this the reopening the church has commenced its daily activities almost ten months after the bloody attack in which 51 of its Worshippers were killed by armed terrorists.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had last month disclosed that a memorial park is being constructed in memory of the victims of the bloody attack.
