Jigawa Guber: We received INEC’s postponement in good faith, says Lamido

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate in JIgawa state, Alhaji Mustapha Sule Lamido has indicated that he received the decision by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) shifting the governorship and State assembly elections in good faith.

Lamido gave the indication on his verified Facebook page when he called on the electoral body to address the alleged irregularities during the presidential and national assembly elections.

According to him, “We receive the decision of INEC to postpone the Governorship and State Assembly Elections in good faith”.

He restated his call on the commission to address the many irregularities that put the Presidential and National Assembly Elections to question adding that it may alao put the integrity of the next polls in doubt.

He called on PDP members and supporters to remain peaceful and patient while he continued to woo the people to embrace his good initiatives for the state.

Lamido also urged the people to remain confident that their votes will count adding that they should come out enmass on 18th March, 2023.
