2023: FCT minister Intensifies Support for Tinubu’s victory
***As APC holds mega rally in Abuja
The victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidates, Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Ibrahim Shettima in the forthcoming general election come February 25, 2023 is a matter of serious agenda for FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, as she has continued to drum up support for them.
A statement by her media adviser Austine Elemue quoted the minister while speaking at the APC Presidential Campaign Council mega rally held in Abuja to have urged the residents to come out in large numbers to vote for the party from top to bottom.
Aliyu and other top party members, youths and women in attendance noted that the mega rally was not only to drum up support for the candidates but also to emphasise the importance of the general elections.
She used the occasion to highlight Tinubu’s achievements as a former governor of Lagos State and his commitment to the development of Nigeria.
“Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a visionary leader who has a proven track records of delivering results for the people. He has transformed Lagos State into a thriving hub of economic activities and has always put the needs of the people first,” the minister said.The minister assured that as the election draws near, the APC would continue to reach out to the people, making case for why Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the right leader to take Nigeria forward.
In his remarks, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, thanked the people of the FCT for their support and urged them to continue to work together to build a stronger, more prosperous Nigeria.
He also stressed the importance of a peaceful and transparent election, calling on all Nigerians to uphold the principles of democracy and ensure that their votes are counted.
The APC rally in the FCT which was a resounding success, with the party’s message of hope and change resonating with the people was well attended by top APC party members, including former governors, ministers, senators, and members of the National Assembly.
