Legislative aide to Kogi East Senator, Ibrahim Ahmadu Akiti has mocked the Peoples Democratic Party’s senatorial candidate for Kogi East, Victor Alewo Adoji for his woeful outing at a zonal rally of the party in Anyigba on the 4th of February, 2023 where he could not tell the people what he has to offer.
According to Akiti, “The essence of any Rally is for candidates to address the electorates on their manifestos.
“The zonal rally held at Anyigba on the 4th of August has further exposed the emptiness in Victor Adoji. It was the first public outing of the PDP Senatorial candidate for Kogi East.
“Rather than addressing the electorate on his manifesto, all he had to say was how Senator Isah Jibrin and all the other APC candidates want to ensure the Governorship seat of Kogi State remains in Kogi Central.
“The question is that, has the primary election for the governorship polls of Kogi State been held? Are those who have indicated interest in the governorship such as Edward Onoja, Muritala Ajaka, etc, from Kogi Central?

“Furthermore, Victor merely made reference to the hunger in the land. We expected him to inform the electorate on how he intends to address the problem of hunger in the land.

We strongly advise PDP to stop this unfortunate candidate from speaking in the public henceforth because he is an upstart and a bundle of embarrassment to the party .

“Victor has no antecedent and no defined manifesto. What a waste of ticket.”
