Kazaure Emir promises support to uplift social lives of PWDs in Jigawa

The emir of Kazaure, in Jigawa State Alhaji Najib Hussaini Adamu has promised to galvanize support to uplift the social life of Persons With Disabilities (PWD) in the State
The emir gave the assurance when he played host to a delegation of the JIgawa state Social Protection Platform (JISOP) under the leadership of Malam Abdullahi Sarki Sulaiman during an advocacy visit in his palace.
The emir expressed gratitude to the group for the good initiative and humanitarian services as he promised to contact wealthy and philanthropic individuals to make their contributions to Jigawa state disabled trust fund.
The emir commended the JISOP on the mission and vision of the organization of uplifting the lives of persons with disabilities
According to him putting smiles on the faces of the less previllaged and PWDs attracts reward from God Almighty.
He expressed appreciation for their determination at mobilizing support for PWDs in Jigawa, adding that “we will do all what we can to encourage the movement for better condition of our PWDs” , he said.
The emir also responded to shortage of manpower in the state as he promised to present the challenges to new elected leaders in the state.
He demanded for more details on JISOP activities and operations for the emirate to known how to support the platform.
Speaking earlier the leader of the delegation, Malam Abdullahi Sarki Sulaiman appealed to the emirate council to release some part of what the emirate gets from Zakkat.
Malam Sulaiman told the emir that the fund will be used to support the PWDs socially and economically.
“Your Highness, part of the use of the funds is to support the education of the PWDs and their children”, Sulaiman emphasis.
