    2023: Nasarawa NLC shuns LP, endorses APC, Sen. Al-Makura

    The Chairman, Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) Nasarawa chapter Comrade Yusuf Iya, has declared full support for the All Progressive Congress, (APC.)

    Comrade Iya stated this during the official inauguration of Al-Makura Senatorial Campaign/Advisory Council in Lafia on Saturday.

    The Labour leader in the state indicated that the union would mobilise support for the re-election of Sen. Tanko Al-Makura (APC-Nasarawa South) to continue his good work in the National Assembly in 2023.

    According to Iya, “Al-Makura performed well as governor and now as a senator, the union’ will support his re-election bid to the red chamber of the National Assembly.

    “We are advocates of good governance and we found good governance in APC from the National to the state level.

    “We will mobilise workers for you as well as advocate and canvass for support for you to enable you succeed.

    The State Deputy Governor, Dr Emmanuel Akabe, Chairman, Gov. Sule/Akabe Campaign Organization,sen. Abubakar Sodangi and the the Secretary of the APC in Nasarawa State, Alhaji Aliyu Bello, all drummed support for the senator to succeed beyond 2023.

    They appealed to the people of the zone and the state at large to vote Al-Makura, the APC presidential candidate, Sen.Bola Ahmed Tinubu, Gov. Abdullahi Sule and all APC candidates in the 2023 general election.

    Sen. Al-Makura while inaugurating his campaign/Advisory Council assured of continuous quality and purposeful representation at the National Assembly, if re-elected

    Al-Makura said that he has done well as the representative of the people of the zone as he solicited for their support and votes to enable him succeed.

    ” There is no local government and development area that I did not touch physically or infrastructurallly

    The senator re-assured the people of his readiness to continue to empower them  in the zone to enable them become self relaint, if voted for another term in 2023.
