FCT minister grieves over Zhin’s demise, Says he lived exemplary life

FCT Minister of State, Dr. Ramatu Tijjani Aliyu, has expressed deep grief over the demise of Danladi Etsu Zhin, who died on Sunday

Special Adviser on media, Austine Elemue in a statement indicated that the minister also commiserated with the families later former chairman of the Kuje Area Council on behalf of the FCT Administration.

The Late Danladi Etsu Zhin, served two terms as the chairman of the Kuje area council, and until his death the FCT PDP coordinator for Atiku Abubakar’s presidential campaign for the 2023 general election.
At the condolence visit, the statement quoted the minister to have described Zhin as a political leader worthy of emulation, stressing that the former council boss lived an exemplary life.
While praying that God Almighty grant the immediate family the fortitude to bear this great loss, she assured that the late Zhin has rested in the bosom of the Lord in heaven.
The minister used the occasion to emphasise that death has no political bias, no religion, no tribe, no gender, adding that death is eminent to every living soul.
According to her; “On behalf of the Federal Capital Territory Administration, I am here to say we feel this pain with you, because our brother was a political leader worthy of emulation who lived an exemplary life.
“However, death has no political party, has no religion, has no tribe or gender. Death is imminent for every living soul, and we believe every soul shall test death when it’s time.”
“We are all gathered here today to commiserate with and tell you that we join you at this moment of grief and pray that God Almighty grant you all the fortitude to bear this great loss. No amount of sorry will bring him back, but I want you to know that no amount of tears will either.
“But we want you to know that at this moment what he desires from you and all of us is abundant prayers, prayers and prayers for a soul. He is well rested in the bosom of the Lord in heaven because that’s what every living soul prays for. May he make heaven.
“May the lives he has touched here continue to remember him in prayers. May God grant all those he left behind, not only the fortitude to bear this great lost, but the grace to carry on”.
Those in the entourage of the minister include the Mandate Secretary Area Council Services, Hon. Ibrahim Abubakar Dantsoho, Mandate Secretary, Agriculture and Rural Development Secretariat, Mallam Abubakar Ibrahim, Mandate Secretary Social Development Secretariat, Hajia Hadiza Mohammed Kabir, Coordinator Satellite Towns Development Department, Comrade Francis Obinna, Chairman Kuje Area Council, Hon. Abdullahi Sabo, Chairman Kwali Area Council, Hon. Danladi Chiya, Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Hon. Abubakar Abdullahi and heads of Departments and Agencies of the Administration.
