Tinubu visits Jigawa over flood disaster, donates N50m

The All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has paid a sympathy visit to the government and people of Jigawa state over the recent flood disaster that wrecked havoc on the state.
Tinubu who visited the State in company of the National Chairman of the Party, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, and Director General of the Tinubu/Shetima campaign organisation announced the donation on N50m at the government House Dutse.
According to him, he was in the state to condole and sympathize with the people of the state especially those that lost their loved ones and those that have become displaced.
“We are here with many of our party leaders to show compassion, and sympathy. We come here to say you will never walk alone. May Allah grant peace and harmony to the people that lost their loved ones and may Allah prevent the occurrence of disaster in the state.” Asiwaju said.
He said, “The people of Jigawa state should be grateful for having a leader like Badaru Abubakar, who cares for his people. With people like him we are assured of success. I call him the political crusher, because of how he helped us crushed our opponents.”
The Jigawa state governor Alhaji Mohammed Badaru Abubakar, commended the APC presidential candidate for his kind gesture, and for finding time to come and commiserate with the people of the state.
“When the first incident of Kafin Hausa happened Asiwaju called me to sympathize with the people of Jigawa state. Also the recent incident that affected Birninkudu, Dutse, Hadejia and other local governments, he called and sympathised with us. And now he is here to personally commiserate with us.” the Governor said.
Tinubu and his entourage took time to pay homage to the Emir of Hadejia in his Dutse residence.
