Senator Dino Melaye has lashed back at former Lagos State Governor, Ahmed Bola Tinubu for calling the Former Nigeria’s vice President Atiku Abubakar a pathological liar insisting that it is his failing memory that is his greatest albatross.

Melaye who represented Kogi West in the eight senate and partly in the ninth senate in a statement he made available to the NationalUpdate on Saturday said, if Tinubu can forget the name of the party, All Progressives Congress (APC) the platform on which he is the Presidential candidate then he must have forgotten what transpired between him and Atiku in 2007.
Tinubu at an event where the FCT minister for State presented thousands of women across the 36 States of the federation and FCT whom she mobilised in his support referred to his party as Action Congress before he was quickly corrected by the minister.
Melaye said, “Atiku is not a liar, Asiwaju Tinubu. I want to tell Tinubu that since he can forget the name of his Party where he is the Presidential candidate, he may have forgotten what transpired in 2007.
“Atiku’s memory is intact and not wobbling. Ask Buhari if Tinubu wanted to be VP in 2015.”
The dirty fight between the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential candidate Bola Ahmed Tinubu and that of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar has continued to play out.
This may not be the best of times for
Tinubu as has been under intense opposition especially from the Christian community and some members of his party over his choice of a Muslim and former Governor of Borno State, Senator Kashim Shettima, as his running mate. More trouble came his way when at the unveiling of Shettima, fake bishops were paraded as his Christian supporters.
