    Sports ministry declares close camping of athletes to commence in July for CWG

    The Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development has concluded arrangements for the closed camping of athletes in the following Federations: Athletics, Boxing, Judo, Para Athletics, Para Powerlifting,  Para Table Tennis, Table Tennis, Weightlifting and Wrestling begining from July 9, 2022 till the commencement of the Games.
    Director of Press and Public Relations Mohammed Manga in a statement issued in Wednesday it pursuant to to the countdown to the 2022 Commonwealth Games (CWG) adding that the athletes will be camped at Abuja, Lagos and Yenagoa.

    “Thus, effective July 9, 2022, the Federations closed and open camps will dovetail into the Ministry’s preparations.”
