Sweddish Govt applauds Center for creating job opportunities for youth

The Ambassador of Sweden to Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon Mr. Carl Michael Grans, has commended the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa for creating massive job opportunities for Nigerian youths.
The President of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu and his team recieved the commendation during a strategic partnership meeting with the Embassy.
The Ambassador declared his willingness to support the work of the Center as he promised to facilitate the center’s engagement with Ambassadors from other Nordic countries, including Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, etc in order to create more jobs for youths in the ECOWAS region in the renewal energy, waste recycling and ICT sectors of the economy.

Addressing the Ambassador, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, President of the Center recounted his many empowerment programs for Nigerian youths several years ago before the establishment of the Ugwumba Center for Leadership Development in Africa.

The gesture he said became necessary in order to formalize and advance his philanthropic gestures. He thereafter announced that this year’s Ugwumba Enterprise Challenge, which is the Pan African Edition will hold in Lagos in the month of August.
Earlier in his remarks, Remy Chukwunyere, the Executive Director of the Center briefed the Ambassador and his team about the programs and activities of the foundation, including the #UgwumbaEnterpriseChallenge and the #RebrandNigeriaCampaign which are their signature projects.

Chukwunyere equally informed the Ambassador that the Center has attracted a credit scheme for women in Imo State called “Fund Her Project” which is billed to be launched sometime in July.

Other members of the delegation were Uche Nnadozie, Director of Business Support Services and Mrs. Gloria Bolarinwa, Coordinator of the Rebrand Nigeria Campaign.
