The governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) Arch. Suleiman Mohammed Awal has indicated that the administration of governor Abdullahi Sule lacks leadership virtue to drive the state appropriately.

Arch. Awal spoke in an interview with journalists shortly after emerging governorship candidate of the APM which held on Wednesday in Lafia the state capital.

“Insincerity of leadership is responsible for the current insecurity in the country. Anger is the birth right of hunger. To solve problem of insecurity we must tackle the challenge of food security.

“Today Sule is one thousand days and above in office. I do not see leadership in his administration. Whatever he has done right or wrong is left for him.

“In his last interview with the BBC, out of the seven questions asked by the anchor person, six answers by Sule were in proxy. How can you call somebody before you answer questions?

“If I am elected as governor of the state, I will boost cottage industry because the state is agrarian. The only benefit the state makes out of the Dangote and Azman rice is the royalties.

On education, the APM governorship candidate said he will build technical colleges in all the senatorial zones where students can acquire technical skills and knowledge where make money daily.

Awal noted that there are over 600,000 out of school children and 1,000 000 WAEC drop out in the state. He promised to give more attention to education through training and retraining of teachers.
