    Eng Da’u Aliyu wins APC ticket for BirninKudu/Buji

    Member representing BirninKudu/Buji federal constituency Engineer Magaji Da’u Aliyu has been reelected as APC touch bearer for the constituency

    He defeated a former commissioner of Agriculture in Jigawa state, Alhaji Nasidi Ali to clinch the ticked

    Announcing the results of the party primary polls, the presiding officer of the election, Isyaku Sabo Jahun announced that the total number of delegates was 105 but votes cast was 100, five absent.

    The presiding officer decleared that “Engineer Magaji Da’u Aliyu scored 87 voters. Alhaji Nasidi Ali got 13 votes.

    According to him, Engineer Magaji Da’u Aliyu who scored the highest number of votes is decleared winner

    Speaking after his victory, Engineer Aliyu expressed gratitude to God as he thanked the delegates, members of the All Progressive Congress (APC) and all stakeholders who made the exercise possible and peaceful.

    Engineer Aliyu is a serving member house of representatives, representing Birninkudu/Buji federal constituency in Jigawa state going for third term under ruling APC.
