    Nigeria’s ruling Party postpones screening of presidential aspirants indefinitely

    The screening of all the presidential aspirants of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) scheduled to take place on Monday, May 23 has been postponed indefinitely.

    The National Publicity Secretary of the party, Mr. Felix Morka who issued a statement on Sunday, said a new date for the screening exercise would be announced by the party.

    According to him, “The Screening Exercise for Presidential Aspirants of the All Progressives Congress (APC) earlier scheduled to hold on Monday, May 23rd, 2022, is hereby postponed.

    “A new date for the exercise will be announced shortly. Any inconvenience caused is deeply regretted.”
