APC guber aspirant asks gov Badaru to fear God, allow free, fair primaries

All Progressive Congress (APC) gubernatorial aspirant in Jigawa state, Honourable Faruk Adamu Aliyu has admonished governor Badaru Abubakar to fear God and be a man of his words by allowing for free and fair primary election

He spoke against the backdrop that the Governor at every given opportunity had always declared that he has no anointed candidate among the nine aspirants jostling for his job on the platform of the APC.
Aliyu made the plea while declaring his intention to run for the office of governor of the State.

He pleaded with the Governor to allow for free and fair primaries, adding that, that is the best process for keeping peace and unity among members of the party.

Hon. Farouk insisted that, justice and transparency must be exercise in the process of party candidate’s selection adding that the party should avoid imposition of candidates which according to him will not augur well for the party.

“Though I’m not doubting governor Badaru’s fairness and promises made in several party’s stakeholders and caucus meetings reaffirming that he doesn’t have any person in mind to support.

Aliyu insisted on the conduct of primary election for the gubernatorial seat to select the party (APC) flag bearer.
He said, there is no aspirant that he can withdraw his ambition for.
According to him, “Yes I have no problem with consensus, because even Islam said consensus is a better solution’.

The APC leader maintained that, ” I Hon. Farouk Adamu Aliyu a founding member of All Progressive Congress (APC) I find it expendient to make a formal declaration as an aspiran seeking for election during the forthcoming party primaries and the 2023 general elections”.

Hon Farouk then announced Agricultural sector as among his top priority if given the mandate and elected as Jigawa State governor.

“To this end if given the mandate, farming will be given due attention to make it profitable.we intend to provide many interventions which shall include the supply of subsidized fertilizer, improved seedlings, small machineries particularly due attention will be accorded to land preparation”, Aliyu said.
