The Director General of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Support Groups Management Council (ABATSGMC) Abdulmumin Jibrin, has jumped the boat from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) to yet to be disclosed party
This has set many tongues wagging as to whether his announcement is a precursor to a bigger news yet to unfold
Jibrin announced his decision to dump the ruling APC on his official social media accounts, indicating that, he will disclose his next political move within 24 hours.
He said, “I have done my best for APC. Its time to move on.l
“I will announce my new political party within the next 24 hours insha Allah. I will make a formal statement in due course,” he said, signing off with his name.
Jibrin, a former Chairman of House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, could not return when he lost his reelection bid in 2020.
He lost his federal constituency of Kano state to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate, Aliyu Detti Yako in a rerun election on January 25, 2020
The embattled Kano Politician had ran out of favour with his party which earned him a suspension from the APC by the Bebeji Local Council chapter, Kano State a year earlier.
