The Senator representing Ogun West Senatorial District in the National Assembly, Tolu Odebiyi has urged Christians nationwide not relent in their prayers for peace to reign in Nigeria.
In celebrating with Christians on the occasion of Easter which is a commemoration of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, the Ogun West Senator who is also the Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine transport asked Nigerians to continue to follow Christ’s model of love for all
He noted that Easter is a period to remember the huge sacrifice Jesus Christ made for mankind.
“Although our celebrations may be challenged by the ugly news of insecurity, kidnapping as well as the current global socio-economic problems, there is hope that Nigeria will overcome.”
Sen. Odebiyi also called on Nigerians to rededicate their time on building a safe and prosperous nation where love and tolerance hold sway, as demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ.
