A political pressure group known as Orji Uzor Kalu Grassroots Movement has made a u-turn to reinstate their unflinching support for the Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress (APC) Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The group which has over 3.8 million registered members nationwide reinstated their support for the APC Presidential hopeful a day after threatening to withdraw their support for the candidate of the ruling party on account of alleged neglect of their principal by the APC Presidential Campaign Council (PCC)
The group National Chairman Alhaji Muritala Mohammed alias ten ten told newsmen that they are reinstating their support for Tinubu after due consultation with their principal noting that the issue that made them uncomfortable has been resolved just as the group were made to know that all former governors and senators are authomatically members of PCC
He added “Yes we made move to withdraw our support for Tinubu on account of non inclusion of our principal in the mainstream activities of the Presidential Campaign of APC by the PCC but I want to assure you that the issue has been resolved and we are reinstating our total support for Tinubu, the APC Presidential candidate”
The National Chairman said that henceforth, the group will be known and called Orji Uzor Kalu Grassroots Movement for Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu for President.
