The 48-year-old was found guilty of murdering Falade Bosede and falsely impersonating a medical doctor on June 9, 2019, at Ajebamidele Street, Otun Ekiti.
The offences contravene Sections 316 and 319(1) of the Criminal Code Law, Cap. C16, Laws of Ekiti StateProsecutor Kunle-Shina Adeyemo presented seven witnesses, medical reports, photographs, and the defendant’s statements as evidence. The defence called no witnesses.
In delivering judgement, Justice Babajide Aladejana said, “The prosecution has proved beyond a reasonable doubt that the reckless action of the defendant caused her death on June 24, 2019. The defendant is accordingly found guilty as charged. You, Olatide Temitope Emmanuel, shall be hanged by the neck until you are dead.”
