President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Nigeria for Europe, where he is expected to spend the year-end holiday and cross into 2026, ahead of an official visit to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to a statement from his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, the President left Lagos State on Sunday, 28 December.
From Europe, President Tinubu will proceed to Abu Dhabi to attend the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week (ADSW), scheduled to hold from 11 to 15 January 2026. His participation follows an invitation by the President of the UAE, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
