As Nigeria continues to grapple with insecurity and other socio-economic challenges, the General Superintendent of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry worldwide, Pastor William F. Kumuyi, has expressed optimism that the forthcoming Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK) will provide spiritual direction and inspire solutions to the nation’s problems.
Speaking on arrival at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, ahead of the crusade, Kumuyi said the event would serve as a platform for divine intervention, healing, restoration and transformation for individuals, families and nations.
The renowned cleric maintained that while governments and institutions have important roles to play in addressing societal challenges, ultimate solutions come from God.
According to him, the Global Crusade with Kumuyi has recorded remarkable impacts across continents, bringing hope to troubled communities and transforming lives through prayer and the preaching of the gospel.
“Everywhere this crusade has gone in Nigeria, Africa, America, Asia and Europe, God has prospered the people. This is God at work, and no man can solve all the myriads of problems globally,” he said.
Kumuyi noted that the crusade has witnessed testimonies of deliverance from drug addiction, restoration of broken families, healing of the sick and the transformation of young people who had strayed from productive paths.
“We’ve seen young people brought back to the right way. We’ve seen mentally challenged people and drug addicts delivered by the Lord. We’ve seen families reunited and the sick healed, including those suffering from terminal illnesses,” he stated.
The cleric expressed confidence that similar testimonies would emerge from the Abuja crusade, especially at a time when many Nigerians are searching for answers to mounting security and economic concerns.
He said the messages to be delivered during the programme would resonate beyond the church, reaching leaders, policymakers and citizens alike.
“Sometimes you preach and it is not exactly what you say that people hear, but we are trusting God to make our people, leaders and policymakers hear what they need to hear. Beyond hearing, God will help them to act on what they hear so that together we can make Nigeria, Africa and the world a better place to live,” Kumuyi said.
He added that organisers are approaching the crusade with great expectations, believing that God will answer prayers offered for Nigeria and guide the country toward peace, stability and progress.
The Global Crusade with Kumuyi is expected to attract thousands of worshippers and participants from across Nigeria and beyond for a programme focused on revival, prayer, healing and national transformation.
