***Marks New Milestone in Tech Leadership

Hon. Adedeji Dhikrullahi Stanley Olajide has taken a significant leap in his digital policy career, as the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) admitted him into its prestigious College of Fellows—an honour reserved for trailblazers shaping the nation’s technology future.
The induction took place at the 2025 Nigeria Information Technology Merit Award (NITMA) ceremony on Tuesday at the MUSON Centre, Lagos.
The event, attended by innovators, government officials, tech executives and global ICT partners, celebrated personalities at the forefront of Nigeria’s digital progress.

For the lawmaker representing Ibadan North-West/Ibadan South-West Federal Constituency, the fellowship signals a growing national acknowledgment of his work as chairman of the House Committee on Digital, ICT and Cybersecurity.
According to his Special Adviser on Media and Public Affairs, Tolu Mustapha, the NCS National Executive Council—led by its President, Dr. Muhammad Sirajo Aliyu—subjected all nominees to a meticulous evaluation process. Olajide’s sustained contributions to cybersecurity reforms, digital legislative frameworks and innovation-driven development made his selection “undeniable,” he said.

Mustapha noted that the fellowship is not only a professional recognition but a public affirmation of Olajide’s leadership qualities and his long-term commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s digital ecosystem.
Olajide has steadily positioned himself as a key driver of Nigeria’s digital policy evolution.
Through his committee leadership, he has championed initiatives to expand digital literacy, enhance cybersecurity preparedness and support technology-enabled economic growth.
With NITMA widely regarded as one of the most respected ICT honours in the country, Olajide’s fellowship underscores the strategic role lawmakers now play in accelerating Nigeria’s digital transformation.
