Beyond Power Games: PDP Still Nigeria’s Only National Party — Fix PDP Group Declares

Amid growing political realignments ahead of 2027, the Fix PDP, Fix Nigeria Group has warned Nigerians not to lose sight of the only political party with a truly national identity — the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

In a statement issued by Abubakar Muktar of Katsina State, the group emphasized that the PDP remains the most enduring democratic platform in Nigeria, never driven by tribal sentiment or political vengeance.

“While others were born out of bitterness, short-term alliances, and desperation for power, the PDP was built to last — with national cohesion and institutional memory,” the statement said.

Taking aim at rival parties, the group said the APC and ADC “emerged from expediency, not vision,” and have failed to entrench ideological or national unity.

As the 2027 elections approach, the group assured that PDP will return reformed and reenergized, committed to zoning and fairness — with a presidency anchored in equity and justice.

“The PDP is far from perfect, but it is still the only political home with room for all Nigerians. This is the time to rebuild, not retreat,” the statement concluded, urging youth and patriots to rally around the party for Nigeria’s future.
