The Governor’s of the Rulling All Progressives Congress (APC) have succumb to President Muhammadu Buhari’s dictates over his choice of Addullahi Adamu as National chairman of the party.
The governors in a meeting with the President on Wednesday dashed the hopes of all other aspirants including former governor of Zamfara State Abdulaziz Yari who had purchased the nomination forms.
This was coming barely 24 hours after Yari warned the president against repeating the same mistake when he imposed former chairman Adams Oshiomhole that has landed the party in the present mess.
The governor’s also endorsed former  President of the Senate, Ken Nnamani as Deputy National Chairman (South) for the ruling Party

Though former Nasarawa State Abdullahi Adamu, who was a two-term  Governor and Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria had, since his endorsement by Buhari, been denying that he was not annointedhad intensified his underground effort to be accepted by all
President Buhari at the meeting was quoted to have said, ”All those who have bought forms indicating interest and have been dropped should have their money refunded without delay,’ Buhari told other aspirants during his meeting with them at the Aso Villa.
