Katsina State Governor, Malam Dikko Umaru Radda, alongside his Jigawa State counterpart, Malam Umar Namadi, has commissioned a newly built Juma’at Mosque and educational facilities in Jahun, the headquarters of Jahun Local Government Area, Jigawa State.

Speaking at the event, Governor Radda stressed the importance of unity among Nigerians, urging all citizens to stand together against insecurity and any attempts to destabilize the country.
He called on Muslims to pray for peace and divine intervention, while encouraging Nigerians to uphold the values of brotherhood, irrespective of religious or ethnic differences.

Radda also emphasized the role of education in shaping the future, advising parents to prioritize both religious and modern education for their children to secure a brighter future for society.

The governor expressed his appreciation for the efforts of Governor Namadi and the philanthropist responsible for funding the mosque and educational facilities. He praised the project as a symbol of selfless service and community development.

The ceremony included the Juma’at prayer, which was observed by Governor Radda, Governor Namadi, and other dignitaries, including the Emir of Dutse, Alhaji Mohammed Hameem Sanusi, and top government officials from both Katsina and Jigawa States.

Governor Radda concluded by urging Nigerians to continue praying for peace and stability across the nation, particularly in the northern region.
