A group of prominent Nigerian businessmen and corporate executives has called for a broader definition of business success, saying wealth and professional achievements should translate into tangible benefits for society.
The group, known as the Circle of Friends Forum, brings together influential personalities from banking, oil and gas, power, real estate, hospitality, engineering and maritime.

The group’s commitment to philanthropy is reflected in the contribution of Ikpea, who built and donated a 62-bed ultramodern medical centre to his Idumu-Iyase community in Ewatto, Edo State.
The facility is expected to improve access to healthcare for residents and neighbouring communities.
The Forum expressed the believe that business success should be measured not only by wealth creation and corporate influence but also by contributions to society.
Beyond their professional engagements, members maintain relationships built around friendship, solidarity and mutual support.
The group said its philosophy is anchored on the belief that achievement carries a responsibility and that collective influence can be used to improve lives and support community development.
