Governor Ademola Adeleke has maintained his lead in the ongoing collation of results from the Osun State governorship election, with results from 303 of the state’s 332 wards already accounted for.
Adeleke had polled 177,572 votes, representing 50.5 per cent of the votes so far collated, while his closest challenger, APC candidate Bola Oyebamiji, recorded 158,588 votes, or 45.1 per cent.
ADC candidate Najeem Salaam remained a distant third with 5,917 votes.

With collation approaching its final stage, attention has shifted to the outstanding results that could determine the final margin.
INEC is expected to formally announce the winner after receiving and collating results from all outstanding wards.
