Easter: Bishop John Ibenu Proclaims Hope, Declares Season of “Open Doors”

Bishop John Ibenu has delivered a message of hope and spiritual renewal, urging Christians to reflect deeply on the significance of Good Friday and the victory it represents for humanity.
Describing Good Friday as “good news for the whole world,” the cleric said the day marks the moment Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for sin—accomplishing what humanity could never achieve on its own.
“What we could never do, Jesus came to do. He paid the debt for sin once and for all, offering Himself as the final sacrifice for all time,” he said.
Bishop Ibenu noted that Christ’s sacrifice opened the way to eternal life, restoring the relationship between God and mankind and removing every barrier that once stood between them.
He described Jesus as the divine bridge and peacemaker, whose death and resurrection brought access to God and the promise of everlasting life.
In a series of prophetic declarations, the Bishop proclaimed the Easter season as a time of “open doors,” speaking blessings over every aspect of life.
“I declare open doors—open doors to eternal life, forgiveness, healing, strength, and longevity. Because He lives, we shall live also,” he said.
He also pronounced breakthroughs in areas such as health, family life, finances, and career, while praying for divine intervention for those trusting God for children, marriage, and restoration.
Bishop Ibenu further declared freedom from fear, premature death, and every form of limitation, encouraging believers to walk in faith and confidence.
“Every spiritual embargo is lifted. There shall be open doors for joy, celebration, and upliftment. The voice of gladness shall be heard in your life,” he added.
He concluded by reminding Christians that Easter is a celebration of victory, urging them to embrace the joy, peace, and abundant life made possible through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
