Suberu unveils people-centered agenda for Adavi/Okehi 2027 bid

An aspirant for the House of Representatives Nigeria, Hon. Suberu Yusuf John, has presented a people-focused agenda for the Adavi/Okehi Federal Constituency of Kogi State ahead of the 2027 general elections, outlining plans to tackle unemployment, improve education, strengthen healthcare, and drive inclusive growth.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) hopeful unveiled his four-point manifesto during a public presentation in Lokoja, describing it as a practical roadmap for development anchored on youth empowerment, human capital investment, and women inclusion.
Suberu emphasized job creation as a central pillar of his campaign, pledging to implement empowerment programmes and establish an education endowment fund aimed at expanding access to quality learning opportunities across the constituency.
On healthcare, he promised policies designed to improve access to medical services and enhance social welfare, stressing that effective representation must translate into tangible improvements in the lives of constituents.
He noted that the blueprint was developed through wide consultations with residents, saying it reflects the real needs and aspirations of the people of Adavi and Okehi. According to him, leadership must be measured by its ability to deliver visible and lasting development.
The aspirant, who currently serves as Senior Special Assistant on Road Safety Matters to Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, described his ambition as a continuation of his public service journey, aimed at delivering greater impact at the national level.
The event drew political stakeholders, associates, and supporters, including officials of the Public Complaints Commission Nigeria, who praised the manifesto as a thoughtful and action-driven plan for development.
A senior official, Ogala Kings, described the initiative as a reflection of experience and grassroots engagement, urging constituents to rally behind the vision to ensure its successful implementation.
Suberu maintained that his campaign is built on unity, accountability, and shared progress, insisting that the 2027 race should be about purposeful leadership and measurable impact.
