Awunah Celebrates Tinubu at 74, Applauds APC Leadership, Reform Agenda

A frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) senatorial aspirant for Benue North-West, Chief Dave Padopads-Awunah, has joined Nigerians in celebrating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on his 74th birthday, praising his leadership role in shaping the ruling party and steering national reforms.
In a goodwill message, Awunah described Tinubu as a central figure in the formation and consolidation of the APC, noting that his political influence and strategic direction laid the foundation for the party’s growth and eventual electoral success.
“President Tinubu has provided consistent leadership from the formative years of the APC to its present status as Nigeria’s ruling party,” Awunah said, adding that his emergence as President reflects years of political commitment and party-building.
The APC stalwart commended what he termed the administration’s reform-driven policies, expressing optimism that they would deliver long-term benefits for the country.
He described the ongoing reforms as “life-changing,” noting that while they may present short-term challenges, they are designed to reposition Nigeria’s economy and governance structure for sustainable development.
Awunah also aligned himself with the leadership of Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, on issues of democracy and development, praising the governor’s support for the President and the party’s broader agenda.
He further noted the growing consensus within the APC ahead of the 2027 general elections, expressing confidence in the party’s unity and direction.
“As a party, we remain committed to strengthening democracy and delivering development to the people,” he said.
The senatorial aspirant called on his supporters and Nigerians at large to use the occasion of the President’s birthday to offer prayers for his continued health, wisdom, and strength.
“We wish Mr President many more years in good health and the strength to continue leading the nation,” Awunah added.
The message reflects continued endorsements from party stakeholders as President Tinubu marks his 74th birthday, with allies highlighting his leadership credentials and reform agenda as key pillars of his administration.
