The All Progressives Congress (APC) has clarified that fees paid for expression of interest and nomination forms for party positions are generally non-refundable.
The party’s National Publicity Secretary Feliv Morka explained that aspirants are expected to understand the requirements of the offices they seek before making any payments, stressing that the process presumes full awareness of eligibility and constituency guidelines.
He noted that while refunds are not the norm, there have been rare instances in the past where the party approved reimbursements under exceptional circumstances.
According to him, affected individuals may formally apply for a refund, and such requests would be considered on a case-by-case basis.
The clarification comes ahead of the party’s national convention, as preparations continue and aspirants move to secure positions within the party structure.
