2027: Group Canvasses Support for Ruba, Highlights Gains for Jigawa Constituency

A political support group has intensified advocacy for the emergence of Yakubu Abdullahi Ruba (SAN) as the House of Representatives member for Hadejia, Auyo, and Kafin Hausa Federal Constituency, outlining what it sees as strategic gains ahead of the 2027 general elections.
In a statement released by its Special Assistant on Media Affairs, Aliyu Sa’id Ibrahim, the group described the senior advocate as a tested professional whose blend of legal expertise and public service experience could translate into effective and responsive representation.
According to the group, Ruba’s previous role as Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Jigawa State underscores his capacity to drive people-oriented legislation, particularly in sectors central to grassroots development.
It identified education, healthcare, agriculture, and youth empowerment as priority areas likely to benefit from his legislative agenda, noting that targeted interventions in these sectors would enhance living standards and stimulate economic activity across the constituency.
Beyond policy, the group said Ruba is well-positioned to strengthen unity among communities in Hadejia, Auyo, and Kafin Hausa, stressing that peace and social cohesion remain critical to meaningful development.
The statement also expressed confidence in his ability to attract federal projects and investments through his professional network, describing such linkages as key to transforming the area’s socio-economic outlook.
Urging residents to rally behind the aspiration, the group framed the 2027 elections as a defining moment to choose credible leadership, promoting its campaign message of “Integrity, Competence, and Progress” as the pathway to sustainable growth in the constituency.
