The Kogi State Government has released a midterm performance report of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, outlining achievements recorded in the first two years of his administration.
The report, published in the 8th edition of the Lugard House Monthly Newsletter, was unveiled by the Special Adviser on Media to the Governor, Hon. Ismaila Isah, and is described as a timely assessment of the administration’s progress so far.
According to Isah, the latest volume opens the year with a comprehensive review of milestones achieved across critical sectors, while also setting the agenda for the next phase of governance in the state.
He explained that the publication documents the Governor’s leadership trajectory, highlighting policy implementation, institutional consolidation and measurable outcomes in infrastructure development, healthcare delivery, education, security, economic management and governance reforms.
“The newsletter presents governance through evidence,” Isah said, noting that it details projects executed, reforms sustained and systems strengthened over the past two years, thereby laying the foundation for the remainder of the administration.
He added that the report offers a clear snapshot of projects initiated and completed, including road networks linking communities, public buildings enhancing administrative efficiency, improved healthcare facilities and educational investments shaping future generations.
Isah also underscored the importance of collaboration in governance, pointing out that the Office of the Kogi State First Lady features prominently in the publication for its social intervention programmes. According to him, these initiatives have complemented government policies by extending support to women, children and other vulnerable groups across the state.
He described the first edition of the newsletter for the new year as both a record of progress and a statement of continuity, reaffirming the Ododo administration’s commitment to sustained development and inclusive growth.
The Special Adviser further noted that the publication reflects the Governor’s emphasis on transparency and accountability, stressing that keeping citizens informed remains central to the administration’s approach as it continues to deliver on its mandate.
